'Todd Martin Youth Leadership'
Funding & Partnerships

The Todd Martin Development Fund, now doing business as Todd Martin Youth Leadership, is a 501(c)(3) organization, established in 1994 through the Capital Region Community Foundation. Now a separate entity, TMYL has an endowment fund managed by the Capital Region Community Foundation. TMYL is the provider of tennis and after school programming for Lansing Parks and Recreation.

TMYL tennis and leadership programs are funded from five sources:

  • ♦  The generous support of our donors throughout the year
  • ♦  Low-cost fees which make programs highly accessible
  • ♦  Corporate and Foundation Grants applied for and recieved to
    support TMYL Programs all year
  • ♦  Special event fundraisers which generate revenue and in-kind
  • ♦  Annual grant from the TMYL Endowment Fund held by the
    Capital Region Community Foundation

The TMDF, a chapter of the United States Tennis Association/National Junior Tennis and Learning, is further able to achieve its mission through the generous support of local and national partners:

Thanks to the following long-time major sponsors, the tennis program, endowment, and special events have grown and flourished.
